DIE CLEMPANEI (Georg Clementi, Ossy Pardeller) acoustic, songwriting
Georg Clementi was born in Bolzano on the day of the moon landing. He began his career as a singer-songwriter at a very
young age and now also works as an actor and
director in Salzburg. He has received numerous awards for his songs. In 2012, he won
the audience award and first prize from the jury at the “Troubadour” in Stuttgart, as well as silver
at the Potsdam Chanson Festival. His songs repeatedly make it onto the German
song charts, and Mirjam Jessa declared his CD “Zeitlieder” the "Discovery
of the Year" on Ö1. At the song festival in Hoyerswerda, he won first
prize in the audience vote and second prize in the jury vote – the Hoyschrecke. Gerd Heger, the "Monsieur
Chanson“ of Saarländischer Rundfunk, says of Georg Clementi: ”There is little better in German
chanson at the moment."
Together with Harald Martenstein, the star columnist of ZEIT magazine, he tours
with the program “Martenstein liest & Clementi singt” (Martenstein reads & Clementi sings). With guitarist Ossy
Pardeller, he founded “Die Clempanei” and presents songs for the heart and the
mind.Ossy Pardeller studied classical guitar for five years in Bolzano and Innsbruck, spent
two years in Seville immersing himself in flamenco, composed for over 80 theater productions
and gave numerous concerts with various partners. He learned composition
from Carlo Domeniconi in Berlin. For 25 years, he has been imparting joy and
skill to guitarists. His miniatures for guitar have been published by Dux Edition. He has enjoyed a decades-long friendship and collaboration with Georg Clementi.
